INPA is a pioneer of Special Education in India since the past 41 years. The relevance of INPA can be understood from the fact that children suffering from some form of Learning Disabilities have grown to be the largest category of exceptional learners. At least 15% children in normal, primary and middle schools suffer from Learning Disability, i.e. Language and mathematical difficulties.

RCI was set up as a registered society in 1986 & became a Statutory Body in June 1993. RCI has the responsibility of standardizing & regulating the training of personnel & professionals in the field of Rehabilitation and Special Education. RCI is the principal agency in India, that promotes Special education in the field of diaability and inclusive education. These courses are widely acclaimed and recognised in India and abrad and are beneficial for new students and existing educationists / teachers alike as per NEP2020.

INPA is the founding member of IPA (USA) since the year 1990. The mission of IPA is to build partnerships with parents and families to provide direct prevention and intervention for their children with, or at risk of, mental retardation and developmental disabilities.
